Serie A resumes on Saturday and these Cremonese vs. Torino predictions have Il Toro looking to maintain their unbeaten run. The hosts have narrowly lost their first two games and will feel that they are overdue a result.

Cremonese vs. Torino odds

1 – Torino to win – 11/8

2 – Torino to keep a clean sheet – 9/4

3– Under 1.5 goals scored – 1/3

4 – Cremonese to win by one goal – 4/1

5 – David Okereke to score anytime – 38/15

Cremonese welcome Torino to the Stadio Giovanni Zini for their first home game of the Serie A season. The Grigiorossi have lost both of their first two games however there is no reason to panic just yet as a new head coach and a host of new players are already showing signs of settling in.

The start to the campaign has gone very differently for Ivan Juric’s Torino who are unbeaten in the first two rounds. The summer was not a positive one for the Granata who saw the departure of their two best players leading to a bust up between the manager and sporting director.

Even so, Juric has managed to maintain last season’s defensive solidity in last weekend’s draw against Lazio. Il Toro finished with the fifth fewest goals conceded in their last campaign and despite the departure of Bremer kept the prolific Aquile at bay at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Saturday.

Torino have shown in their opening two games that they are more than capable of balancing attack and defence in order to secure their current mid-table position. Given their strong form so far, the visitors are favourites for the upcoming game this weekend and are our tip to win against Cremonese.

One criticism that has been levelled at the Toro manager is that he is overly cautious with a focus on defence. Of course, this can work to their benefit and a bet on the visitors to keep a clean sheet could certainly pay off, however, it can also lead to uninspiring offensive performances with another recommended bet on under 1.5 goals scored in the clash at the Stadio Giovanni Zini.

On Cremonese’s side, Alvini will have been disappointed that his side failed to pick up any points having narrowly lost away to Fiorentina and Roma. Two tough opponents away from home were hardly an ideal start to the season but Il Cremo acquitted themselves well.

The hosts are likely to match their visitors’ defensive set-up and a bet on yet another winning margin of just one goal for Cremonese could well take place on Saturday. The hosts will be hoping that they are on the winning side on this occasion, and should David Okereke add to his goal tally, they could well secure their first points of the season this weekend.

Cremonese team news

Few changes are expected from Massimilano Alvini following and impressive showing at Roma. Luca Zanimacchia is the most likely change from Cremonese given their disappointing creative output with Cristian Buonaiuto possible slotting into midfield.

Torino team news

Injury to summer signing Alexey Miranchuk will see the winger miss out yet again on Saturday with Nikola Vlasic starting alongside Nemanja Radonjic. Pietro Pellegrini will hope to be given more of an opportunity up front, having managed just 18 minutes this season. Perr Schuurs is unlikely to start having signed from Ajax last week but may feature on the bench.
