Cremonese have reportedly submitted an offer to Roma for Felix Afena-Gyan, a deal that would allow the Giallorossi to finally sign Andrea Belotti.

The 19-year-old Ghanian forward was handed his Roma debut by Jose Mourinho last season and he had a strong campaign with the first team, scoring two goals in 17 Serie A appearances. Afena-Gyan’s emergence attracted the attention of several teams, like Sassuolo and Salernitana, and now Cremonese have entered the fray.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Cremonese have submitted a €7m offer for Afena-Gyan, keen to pick up the Roma talent on a definitive transfer. The Giallorossi are open to this idea as it would them to finally secure Belotti’s signature.

The Italian striker is still a free agent, six weeks after his contract expired with Torino. He’s been waiting for Roma for a while now and his patience is seemingly wearing thin, so Tiago Pinto will have to work fast to finalise the Afena-Gyan deal with Cremonese.
