Bologna, Torino, Salernitana and Udinese have been barred from playing today, but their opponents will show up for the games, claiming a 3-0 win by default, something we already saw last season in Juventus–Napoli.
Oddly, that’s the same fixture in program tonight at the Allianz Stadium, but this time, the match between the Bianconeri and the Azzurri is expected to go ahead.
Four games won’t be played but have not been postponed by Lega Serie A. Bologna, Torino, Salernitana and Udinese have been ordered into quarantine for five days by the local health authorities after COVID outbreaks in their teams.
Hellas Verona also have eight cases of COVID, but they were given the green light to travel to Spezia while Bologna-Inter, Atalanta-Torino, Salernitana-Venezia and Fiorentina-Udinese won’t be played today.
However, Inter, Atalanta, Venezia and Fiorentina will show up for the games, warm up as nothing happened. After 45 minutes of waiting for the opponents, the matches will be declared abandoned.
The four clubs that won’t show up for the games are expected to get a 3-0 loss by default and docked one point, but we already know they would win the appeal, as it happened with Napoli in 2020.
COVID Chaos: Napoli stars quarantined after travel, others wear masks against Juventus?
The Azzurri managed to have their game against Juventus rescheduled after failing to show up for last season’s fixture against the Bianconeri.
Napoli arrived in Turin yesterday but saw the local health authority in Naples order three of their players into quarantine as they came into contact with their teammates positive for COVID having only two doses of vaccine. So, as per the Italian Government rules, they must quarantine for a week.
Serie A games on today
Sampdoria v Cagliari 11.30 UK time
Spezia v Verona 13.30
Juventus v Napoli 19.45
What happened to the much vaccinated 98% Italy now footballitalia ? You were boosting 2 weeks ago and bashing the not vaccinated England ?
Non-mainstream research? Like your friend who knows a guy who said something on FB? Some people are truly baffling.
Also, it has not “mixed” with the flu and it is not “very sticky”. Your post should be removed as it is nonsense. I suggest you listen to some of the “mainstream” research so you are not as terribly uninformed about this.
Lmfao @ DB Milan spot on bro 😂🤦🏻♂️
