Liverpool-target Philippe Coutinho has underlined his desire to remain with Italian giants Inter.

“We young players – myself, Juan Jesus, Marco Benassi, Daniel Bessa and others – can sense the confidence that the Coach and club have in us.

“All my thoughts are on recovering from injury as soon as possible and coming back.”

Reports suggest that the Premiership club have had a January offer for the Brazilian youngster rejected.

Coutinho is a 20-year-old attacking midfielder who spent six months of last season on loan at Espanyol. He has one goal in 10 League games this term.
