Inter will reportedly contact Marcus Thuram and his entourage today to finalise the details of his free transfer to the club.

The 25-year-old Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Milan this summer, but ultimately decided to head to the Nerazzurri, who have been working on a deal for him since the World Cup in Qatar.

Thuram will add some much-needed firepower to Simone Inzaghi’s attack, helping fill the void left behind by Edin Dzeko’s move to Fenerbahce. Talks are also ongoing with Chelsea to agree a new deal for Romelu Lukaku.

TMW highlights how Inter will look to resolve the final details of Thuram’s free transfer with his entourage today, before planning out the schedule of his arrival, which could take place on Wednesday.

Once the legal and bureaucratic aspects have been finalised, the 25-year-old will head to Italy, where he’ll undergo his medicals before putting pen to paper on a five-year contract worth around €6m net per season.
