Massimiliano Allegri has agreed a contract termination with Juventus and reports suggest he could end up in the dugout for Lazio.

The 56-year-old Italian coach was acrimoniously sacked by the Old Lady back on May 17th, less than 48 hours after winning the Coppa Italia final over Atalanta. His outburst on that night, which included damaging a LaPresse photo area and insulting Tuttosport editor-in-chief Guido Vaciago, forced the club’s hand.

Allegri was not happy with the nature of his Juventus dismissal and was willing to go to a labour court to dispute the decision after receiving the club’s just cause, but the two parties reached a mutual contract termination agreement on Monday, closing the case once and for all.

Allegri future

Page four of today’s Tuttosport details how Allegri is now free to join a new club after his contract termination with Juventus, and seemingly has two possible options in front of him – a move to Saudi Arabia or taking over at Lazio.

Endless rumours are circulating surrounding the future of Igor Tudor in the Italian capital, and should he ultimately depart in the coming weeks, then the former Bianconeri coach could emerge as a candidate for the Biancocelesti.
