“I have been following Scandinavian tournaments for some time, to look for low-cost opportunities in the so-called alternative Leagues,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I have been many times at the Opera of Hauge in Bodø and I was struck by his characteristics.
“At that stage, I was looking for a quality winger for 4-3-3, so much so that I offered €2m to the Norwegian club through his agent Atta.
“The dialogue was in full swing. Then Milan arrived and I’m pleased that Jens Petter has seized such an important opportunity for his career.”
