Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi believes his current Coach Marco Giampaolo would be suited to Fiorentina.
The two Tuscan rivals face off this weekend, but there are reports Paulo Sousa will leave over the summer and Giampaolo is among the candidates to take over.
“As well as being a great Coach, Giampaolo is also a very calm person and capable of dealing with pressure, of which there is plenty in Florence,” Empoli President Corsi told Radio Blu.

Empoli are without a Serie A victory in 11 rounds, but the performances have not been as bad as those results would suggest.
“I hope to see an aggressive and angry Empoli on Sunday. Fiorentina will want to play their usual positive football, as do we, so it’ll be a spectacular game.”
