Argentina international Joaquin Correa suffered a physical problem in the World Cup Qualifier against Uruguay and trained separately today.

The forward moved from Lazio to Inter on loan with an obligation to buy this summer and thus followed former Aquile coach Simone Inzaghi to the Nerazzurri.

The two teams clash in Serie A this weekend, but Correa might not be fit enough to take part at the Olimpico and could miss the game against his former teammates.

TYC Sports reports the Albiceleste will assess Correa’s conditions in the next few hours, as he worked with an individual programme after the 3-0 win over Uruguay in the World Cup Qualifiers.

Correa replaced Lautaro Martinez after 65 minutes of the match but reportedly suffered an injury during the match at the Estadio Monumental.

Correa scored twice for Inter on his debut against Hellas Verona and has appeared six times in total for the Nerazzurri this term.
