Joaquin Correa isn’t even on the Lazio bench, as it’s reported he is in negotiations for a move to either Inter or Everton, plus Marcus Thuram sustained an injury.

The Argentina international has been pushing for an exit all summer, hoping to follow former Biancocelesti coach Simone Inzaghi to Inter.

Today there were reports that Correa and Lazio were in talks with both Everton and Inter, with the forward wanting to wait until the last minute in the hope he can remain in Serie A.

Coach Maurizio Sarri said that Correa was not in the right mindset to play, but sent the player into the stands this evening against Empoli, as there is not even a spot for him on the bench.

Meanwhile, there is another reason for Correa to think he might be the new favourite for the Inter attacking spot this season.

His main rival, Thuram, limped off 20 minutes into Borussia Monchengladbach’s Bundesliga match today with a suspected sprained knee.

  1. @Ppl sounds good but can you shift the two of 1st?

Btw Lazio shows promising signs under Sarri , the players start to get comfortable with the new playong style and SMS is looking like a real leader, a True Sergeant(scored and assisted and should’ve been two with L Alberto really). Daie
