Inter have probably lost Joaquin Correa for the rest of 2021, as he pulled up with a suspected hamstring strain during the Serie A game against Roma.

The Argentina international had impressed during the match at the Stadio Olimpico, with his team leading 3-0 by half-time.

However, on the hour mark he was dribbling into the box when he suddenly pulled up clutching the back of his left leg.

It immediately seemed to be a hamstring strain and Correa was in tears when he limped to the bench, where club and country teammate Lautaro Martinez tried to console the former Lazio striker.

Correa is certainly out of the Champions League head-to-head with Real Madrid for top spot in their group next week.

He will probably also sit out the Serie A fixtures against Cagliari, Salernitana and Torino, which build up to the Christmas break.

It remains to be seen if Tucu Correa will recover in time for the Italian Supercup against Juventus, to be played at San Siro on January 12.
