Chievo boss Eugenio Corini has played down suggestions that Inter’s Marco Andreolli could return to the Bentegodi this month.
The defender moved to San Siro in the summer on a free transfer after his contract with the Gialloblu expired.
However, there are claims that he could be targeted by the Flying Donkeys this January seeing as he has been used just twice by Walter Mazzarri in 2013-14.
“At this moment Andreolli is very focused on Inter,” Corini noted. “He deserved to have been given such a chance.
“I don’t know what will happen in the future, but that is the situation for now.
“The transfer market? We will have to make use of it,” added the former midfielder who recently replaced Giuseppe Sannino on the bench.
“We’ll have to pay special attention to the midfield seeing as we are playing in a different way with respect to the start of the season.”
