SPAL will face Lecce in the Fourth Round, as the Salentini made short work of Salernitana with a 4-0 victory.

Gianluca Lapadula pounced on a Billong error, then Falco did the same with Maistro. Lapadula completed his brace by sneaking up behind defenders and Calderoni’s impressive volley sealed the rout.

Sassuolo did the bare minimum to squeeze past Spezia 1-0, as the first goal from Junior Hamed Traore just nine minutes in proved enough.

The former Empoli midfielder was set up by Domenico Berardi’s assist and Sassuolo will play Perugia next, who eliminated Brescia in extra time.
