The Serie C side took the lead after just eight minutes at the Sardegna Arena through Miguel Sainz Maza’s strike from distance.

Daniele Dessena ran on to a Diego Farias assist to equalise, but Pordenone had by far the better of the second half.

Following a series of Luca Crosta saves, Alessandro Bassoli nodded in from a corner to restore Pordenone’s advantage.
