Coppa Italia line-ups: Inter vs. Juventus

Federico Chiesa starts as a False 9 supported by Angel Di Maria in the Coppa Italia semi-final, while Edin Dzeko is preferred to Romelu Lukaku for Inter, despite the Belgian’s ‘pardon’ allowing him to participate.

It kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

The first leg ended 1-1 in Turin, so as the away goals rule has been scrapped, any draw here will force the teams to extra time and perhaps even penalties.

Lukaku converted a last-gasp penalty in that tie, then received a second yellow card for his celebration ‘silencing’ racist supporters in the stands, but the FIGC gave him a pardon in extraordinary circumstances, especially as this gesture is how the Belgian always celebrates goals.

Juan Cuadrado and Samir Handanovic were then sent off after the final whistle for a brawl and are therefore banned.

Despite the pardon, Lukaku is only on the bench in favour of Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez, while Marcelo Brozovic is dropped for returning Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Juventus have growing injury problems, as Dusan Vlahovic sprained his ankle in training, with Moise Kean also out, while Arkadiusz Milik played all of Sunday’s fiery Serie A defeat to Napoli.

Max Allegri makes radical changes, using Chiesa as a False 9 supported by Di Maria, while the defence is also transformed with the return of Leonardo Bonucci.

Both teams need to be wary of yellow cards, as Lautaro Martinez, Lukaku, Brozovic, Andre Onana, Tucu Correa, Federico Dimarco, Robin Gosens, Danilo, Fabio Miretti and Mattia Perin are all one booking away from suspension for the Final.

The Coppa Italia is a completely separate tournament, so no bans will cross over to Serie A.
