“The CTS is studying the protocol to allow fans to reach the stadium and attend the event in safety, while fully respecting the anti-COVID norms.”

The CTS is the Technical Scientific Committee, which refused an earlier request to allow fans into stadiums from May 1.

Italy had to commit to at least 25 per cent capacity for the Stadio Olimpico in Rome from June 11 in order to keep their four Euro 2020 fixtures.
