According to Calcio&Finanza, the 2022-23 Coppa Italia winner will earn circa €4.5m, while the prize money for the runners-up is €2m.

Fiorentina and Inter meet in the Coppa Italia Final at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night. It kicks off at 20:00 GMT+1.

Calcio&Finanza reveals the winner of tonight’s fixture will earn circa €4.5m, while the loser will get €2m.

Inter and Fiorentina have already gained around €3m for reaching the Final, so, overall, the team that lifts the cup will get €7m, circa €2m more than the runners-up.

Fiorentina and Inter will also get 45% each from ticket revenues for tonight’s match at the Stadio Olimpico, while Lega Serie A will keep the remaining 10%.

Ticket revenues for last season’s Final between Inter and Juventus, also at the Stadio Olimpico, were €5.15m, with almost 68,000 fans at the stadium.

By reaching the Final, Inter and Fiorentina have also gained access to the 2023-24 Supercoppa which will involve four clubs for the first time. Serie A winners Napoli have also qualified, while the fourth and final spot belongs to the league’s runners-up.
