The draw has been made for this season’s Coppa Italia, with a potential Milan derby in the quarter-final.

A tennis-style bracket is drawn up before the start of each campaign, meaning that every side knows exactly who they could encounter en route to the final.

Juventus, Roma, Atalanta, Napoli, Inter, Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio will all enter at the Last 16 stage due to their Serie A positions last year.

That round will be played on December 13 and 20, subject to change for television.

Potential semi-finals include Juventus-Napoli, but the two Milan clubs are scheduled to meet in the quarter-final.

Last year’s final saw Juve beat Lazio, and the pair could meet in the final again as they’re on opposite sides of the draw.

The final will be May 9 at Stadio Olimpico, with the semi-finals to be played over two legs on January 31 and February 28.
