For Wednesday evening’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg, Davide Ballardini could be in line to make a number of changes to the Cremonese team that lost 3-1 to Atalanta in Serie A on Saturday evening.

Johan Felipe Vazquez is expected to be called into La Cremo’s back three in place of Luka Lochoshvili, who was withdrawn in the second half of the Atalanta game on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Leonardo Sernicola is tipped to start out wide, with Pablo Galdames expected to start in the midfield three on the night.

Cyriel  Dessers will likely make his first start in three games to partner top scorer Daniel Ciofani in the absence of David Okereke, who continues to be sidelined by injury.

For Fiorentina, who have won nine of their last 10 matches in the league and Conference League, there will be minimal changes to the team that beat Inter 1-0 at San Siro on Saturday.

The goalkeeper and back four are likely to remain unchanged, while Sofyan Amrabat is expected to be called back into the starting line-up in midfield.

There will also be an opportunity for Nicolas Gonzalez to make a start for La Viola in place of Gaetano Castrovilli, who will probably drop to the bench for the cup outing.

Kick off for this evening’s game comes at 20.00 UK time.

Cremonese (3-5-2): Carnesecchi; Aiwu, Bianchetti, Vasquez; Sernicola, Benassi, Galdames, Pickel, Valeri; Tsadjout, Dessers.

Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Dodo, Martinez, Igor, Biraghi; Amrabat, Mandragora; Ikone, Bonaventura, Gonzalez; Cabral.
