Although this is Lazio’s home stadium, it is also the official FIGC arena and for the purposes of this Final is considered neutral turf.

These sides already met here in Serie A 10 days ago and Atalanta fought back from an early Marco Parolo goal to win 3-1.

It is Atalanta’s first Coppa Italia Final since 1996 and the chance to win silverware after lifting this trophy in 1963.

Rafael Toloi is the only real injury absentee and his season is already over, so Gian Piero Gasperini is able to pick practically his strongest XI.

The defence is bolstered by Jose Luis Palomino and Berat Djimsiti rather than Gianluca Mancini, while Hans Hateboer and Timothy Castagne take the wings.

Papu Gomez rested at the weekend, as he was suspended along with Andrea Masiello and Mancini in the 2-1 Serie A victory over Genoa.

The captain supports Josip Ilicic and Duvan Zapata, as the Bergamo Boys aim for their 100th competitive goal of the season, currently on 99 in 46 games.

Lazio are without Jordan Lukaku and Valon Berisha, but have Sergej Milinkovic-Savic back from injury for a place on the bench.

Stefan Radu is able to play, because his four-match Coppa Italia ban was reduced to two games.

He was sent off for dissent for protesting Inter’s last-gasp penalty in the quarter-final on January 31 and therefore missed both legs of the semi-final with Milan.

However, he is still left on the bench in favour of Bastos, while Adam Marusic pushes out Romulo and Luis Alberto takes a deeper midfield role.

Tucu Correa is given the nod to support Ciro Immobile, leaving Felipe Caicedo on the bench.
