Andrea Conti has thanked Milan fans for ‘always supporting me’ during his injury ordeal.
Conti was one of Milan’s big-money signings in the summer of 2017 but has not appeared for the Rossoneri in over a year after two serious knee injuries.
However, the right-back was among the substitutes in the 3-2 win against Sampdoria last weekend and kept his place on the bench for the visit of Genoa.

“I already felt strong sensations on Sunday,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I had a wonderful reception from the fans and I have to thank them. They’ve always supported me.
“I’m very happy. I still have to work hard to get back to 100 percent, but I’m feeling confident and I have to keep working well.”
