Milan full-back Andrea Conti made his comeback after 423 days out injured today. “I suffered not being able to help my teammates.”
The former Atalanta man has dealt with a series of knee problems and relapses, starting just weeks after his transfer to San Siro in September 2017.
He returned in the line-up for the Milan Primavera youth team against their Chievo counterparts and played 58 minutes.
It was his first competitive game since Italy’s World Cup qualifier against Israel on September 5, 2017.

“I’ve felt better, to be honest, but I thank everyone and am happy to be back,” the 24-year-old said on Sportitalia.
“I am incredibly eager to get out there, as I suffered not being able to help my teammates, but I hope to get back to 100 per cent so I can help the side as soon as possible.”
