Leonardo Bonucci’s motivational coach Alberto Ferrarini has explained why he sees Antonio Conte’s departure from Juventus as a good thing.

The Bianconeri are in a period of adjustment following the quick resignation of the 44-year-old on just the second day of pre-season, and Massimiliano Allegri’s appointment in his place.

However, for Ferrarini, who works with a number of players in the Italian game such as Bonucci as a motivational coach, there is opportunity in the change.

“What do I think of Conte’s exit? I was expecting it,” Ferrarini has written on his Facebook page this week.

“Is it a good or bad thing? Good for both because he has departed with Juve winning.

“And for the players? It is a good thing because each of them will have a unique opportunity – to prove to be a winner even without Conte.

“And then in the Champions League, in my opinion, Juve can play more loose and free to express themselves as never before.

“Conte has been the top Coach in Italy for three years now, but at the same time he was unable to transmit his strength into Europe.

“And what about Allegri? He has a crazy and unique opportunity. And remember, he is a winner, as opposed to a loser, he sees change as an opportunity and never a tragedy.”
