Antonio Conte took charge of a morning training session at Tottenham and Spurs published his touchline reactions during the game against Everton.

Conte was appointed new Tottenham coach last week, following Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking.

He won his first match in charge against Vitesse in the Conference League but was held to a 0-0 draw by Everton in the Premier League.

Tottenham have published a video showing Conte’s touchline reactions during Sunday’s match against the Toffees.

According to reports in Italy, Spurs footballers are happy with Conte’s approach at the club. They are ‘blown away’ by his training sessions and his man-management skills.

Tottenham players’ reaction to first training sessions under Conte

Conte is regarded as one of the toughest coaches in football and has banned ketchup, mayonnaise, sauces and pizza, among other things, from Tottenham Hotspur’s canteen. However, his methods have proved to be successful at any club so Spurs fans and players hope the Italian will manage to win a piece of silverware at the club soon.

Conte published a few pictures after today’s training session in North London, showing exactly the same commitment and determination you expect from a coach like him.

Tottenham return to the pitch on Sunday, November 21, hosting Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds.

  1. Look, I get it: Conte -> Italian coaching Premier League team -> making headlines -> news on Football Italia. Fine. But… we don’t need these articles covering Conte and everything he does at Tottenham now. So please, dear editors, stop it. Enough is enough.

  2. This is why the man is a top coach wherever he has been. He might be nuts but the passion he shows for football from every micro detail is to be applauded. Not like Allegri who only knows the Christmas tree formation and regressive, timid style of football which makes you sleep.

  3. I enjoy the articles on Conte and I appreciate the updates as I’m interested in his career. Conte is a representative of Italian football. So speak for yourself Romanzo, there’s no ‘we’. If Conte articles are attracting the clicks, FI will keep posting them.

  4. This is why the man is a top coach wherever he has been. He might be nuts like me but the passion he shows for football from every micro detail is to be applauded. Not like Allegri who only knows the Christmas tree formation and regressive, timid style of football which makes you sleep. Even my grandpa Willie boy falls asleep in the bingo hall watching his bland soccer.

  5. I also like the Conte articles as I’m interested in how he does. If you don’t, don’t read them!

  6. I had enough of Conte, he only seeks money and joins challenges where he can achieve the goals.

Could live without these reports as it has nothing to do with Italian Football any more.

  7. This is the best thing that has happened for Italy, we need this sort of discipline instilled in the players. I love this exchange between England and Italy, fantastic!

Every few years he comes back to Italy and look at what he did at Inter they’re rock solid.

    I just got chills.
