Just like many other Serie A clubs, Inter can’t spend big in January due to the COVID pandemic and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte has understood the club’s situation and is not going to publicly vent his frustration about transfer choices in the future.
“Conte is like a volcano who is always ready to explode, but this time he has understood the club’s difficulties,” writes the paper.
“He’s aligned with his directors, now is not the time to bang his fists on the table.”
La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Conte wanted N’Golo Kanté to move to Inter in the summer, but the deal with Chelsea was too complicated.
Conte’s request for the January transfer window is PSG’s Leandro Paredes who could join the Nerazzurri in a swap deal with Christian Eriksen.
