  1. Bizarre choice by Conte. Can’t see him and Levy getting on at all. Both are control freaks, and as Jon above says, the toys will be flung out of the pram pretty quickly if either of them don’t get their own way.

But if Levy keeps out of his way and gives him what he wants, he could transform Spurs from a joke club into serious contenders – at least domestically.

  2. He’s got his work cut out for him, but surely he can improve them drastically and get better results. He needs many new player in defense and midfield. Will he raid his former club Inter for defenders?

  3. Simone Inzaghi is already playing Ranocchia, however I don’t think he could lure away anyone other than maybe Skriniar…

Tottenham are in deep crisis though if you consider the last 2ish years so Conte has a massive Challenge ahead.

  4. To be fair let me add that Spurs just signed Romero so De Vrij won’t be needed . Bastoni is someone I wouldn’t want to loose and considering the 3CB Conte plays usually, none of the trio is safe from that “luring” thing ..

  5. This could be good news for Milan, as Conte may want to steal a march on the competition and grab Kessie in January, which means Milan will get some kind of a fee.

  6. If conte Want Mckennie the asking price just doubled to $ 60 million !

@I MISS JUVENTUS IN SERIE B: you couldn;t trade Vecino for Medel let alone ask a transfer fee !

  7. So what was all that talk about never taking jobs midseason? Just goes to show the smell of money can make most people abandon their principles. I don’t see Conte winning more than the Carabao cup or Europa conference before he gets fed up of Levy or vice-versa and moves on. Kane is the real wild card. If he continues to play like he’s mentality left the club then Conte will have a lot of work on his hands.
