Corriere dello Sport believes that he sent an assistant to the Stadio Marassi last night to scout several players during Genoa’s 1-0 win over Inter.
The report says that Grifone striker Pavoletti was under observation with an eye to a Euros call-up for the 27-year-old, who’s currently uncapped.
However, the assistant was also tasked with observing Nerazzurri winger Perisic and defender Murillo, who Chelsea are believed to be interested in.
Both players only arrived at the San Siro club last summer but have been linked with Premier League moves, as Inter’s Champions League hopes drift further away.
