Antonio Conte has named a back three of Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Natan and Amir Rrahmani for Sunday evening’s pre-season friendly against Albanian side KF Egnatia.

In what is his third pre-season test in charge of the Partenopei, Conte has gone with a 3-4-2-1 system, but has not included talisman Victor Osimhen, who continues to be linked with a move away from the Stadio Maradona this season.

The Nigeria international is not in the squad at all.

Walid Cheddira, who notched seven Serie A goals from 36 appearances while on loan with Frosinone last term, leads the Partenopei line in Osimhen’s absence.

New signing Leonardo Spinazzola is also in the line-up for Sunday evening’s friendly, with Pasquale Mazzocchi taking up his position on the opposite flank. They will be joined by Stanislav Lobotka and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa in midfield.

Starman Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is now back from EURO 2024 duty with Georgia and lines up alongside Matteo Politano behind Cheddira in attack.

The Partenopei had originally been due to play Mario Balotelli’s old side Adana Demirspor tonight, but the Turkish outfit had to cancel, and Egnatia were able to step in relatively last-minute.
