Antonio Conte, Alessandro Nesta, Antonio Cabrini, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Vujadin Boskov are among those inducted into the Calcio Hall of Fame, while Simon Kjaer wins the Davide Astori Award.

This is the 11th year of the Hall of Fame in the permanent Museum of Calcio, although it was not held in 2021 due to the pandemic.

The committee chose the figures to induct into the Hall of Fame fitting various categories, with one each proposed per year.

For 2022, former Lazio and Milan defender Nesta was chosen as Italian Player, Rummenigge as Foreign Player and Conte as coach.

Conte won the Scudetto last season with Inter, his fourth Serie A title, having put together three in a row at Juventus from 2011-14.

Giovanni Sartori was inducted for his work as a director, Gianluca Rocchi as referee and 1982 World Cup winner Cabrini as Veteran Italian Player.

Milan defender Simon Kjaer will receive the Davide Astori Award for his actions in saving the life of Denmark international teammate Christian Eriksen at EURO 2020.

Boskov, Luigi Simoni, Armando Picchi, Romano Fogli and Fino Fini received memorial awards.
