According to Tuttosport newspaper, Antonio Conte is in no rush to extend his contract with Tottenham, but Spurs ‘won’t wait forever.’

The Italian tactician signed an 18-month deal with the North Londoners in November 2021, so his current deal at the club runs out in June.

As per Tuttosport, Conte is in no rush to sign a contract extension with the Premier League side and has been postponing meetings to discuss a new deal with the club.

Conte’s shadow looms over Allegri at Juventus

At the moment, Conte is only focused on the pitch and is eager to win with Tottenham, according to the report. However, Spurs ‘won’t wait forever’ and the Turin-based paper claims January is the deadline set by the club for the coach’s contract extension.

Conte has been linked with a return to Juventus in 2023 and is being said to have an ‘excellent rapport’ with Juventus despite clashing with President Andrea Agnelli in the past.

He spent the last few days in Turin where he owns an apartment, but his return to Italy has clearly nothing to do with an imminent return to the club.
