FIGC director Carlo Tavecchio says Coach Antonio Conte can stay at the helm of the Azzurri, regardless of whether he wins or loses.

The triple Scudetto winner with Juventus has a contract with the national team that is due to expire after Euro 2016 and it's unclear yet whether he intends to renew it.

Speaking to Sky Sports after a meeting in Rome, Tavecchio said the decision came down to the Coach and that there was no problem on the federation's side.

“We have a contract with Puma for four seasons and one with Conte for two,” he said.

“We're in the right financial conditions to keep the Coach satisfied for four years. If he's happy with that, then we're available.

“We'd like to keep him, not only if victories come along, but also if they don't.”
