Antonio Conte is set to leave Tottenham when his contract expires in the summer and Inter recently held some informal talks with the Juventus linked coach, reports detail.

The 53-year-old Italian coach has not had a positive season in North London, losing multiple friends in the space of a few months and seeing his team look poor regularly in the Premier League, despite their possibly flattering position in the league table.

With less than four months left on his contract with Tottenham, the expectation is that Conte will leave the club in the summer, allowing him to take his services to a new club.

The Times reports that Inter recently contacted Conte for some informal talks, a possible early sign of their interest ahead of the summer. It’s been suggested over the last few months that Simone Inzaghi’s position may be under threat at the end of the season, despite the club’s public backing.

The Italian coach had a positive first spell with the Nerazzurri, guiding them to the Europa League finals in his first season and the Scudetto in his second.

Juventus have also been heavily linked with a possible move for Conte in the summer, should they decide to sack Massimiliano Allegri.
