Antonio Conte confirms that Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi has pulled out of the Italy squad with injury.
The forward was called-up for the first time by the Azzurri CT, but suffered a muscular injury ahead of the Neroverdi’s match against Empoli.
“Unfortunately he’s had a problem,” Conte confirmed in a Press conference at Coverciano.

“Unfortunately he’s had a problem,” Conte confirmed in a Press conference at Coverciano.
“He’s had tests and it’s not anything serious. The lad was feeling a lot of pain, which worried him, and he preferred to rest and recuperate.
“I understand that, because he’s just coming back from an injury, so he’ll return home. I’m sorry, but I hope he can do well.”
Italy take on Norway and Azerbaijan, and are on the verge of qualifying for Euro 2016, but Conte is keen to guard against complacency.
“We’ll try to immediately secure qualification. Azerbaijan are a good team, they drew against Croatia and Norway, so we have to make it clear that it won’t be easy.
“They have all the characteristics of being a banana skin for us. These will be to very important matches.”
