Former Inter coach Antonio Conte met Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku at J|Hotel ahead of Belgium vs. France in Turin.

The Juventus hotel hosted Belgia for yesterday’s semi-final of the UEFA Nations League, and Lukaku now prepares to play Italy in the battle for third place in the competition.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Conte was in the stands to watch Belgium vs. France at the Allianz Stadium last night and the former Nerazzurri coach met Lukaku at the hotel.

Conte: ‘Chelsea not using Lukaku properly’

Conte, who previously coached Juventus too, lives in Turin and the newspaper claims there’s still a special link between the tactician and Lukaku.

Lukaku was the top scorer for Inter when winning the Scudetto under Conte last season, finding the net 24 times in 36 Serie A appearances.

Conte recently spoke about the Blues striker and claimed the Londoners are not using him properly when he was a pundit for Sky Sport Italia during the Champions League games.
