Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte and Italy World Cup winner Marcello Lippi courted controversy in a reunion of the Juventus squad, which included disgraced director Luciano Moggi.
A photograph of the reunion appeared on Facebook and Instagram via Conte’s page with the message: “It was lovely to be all together after so much time.”
Some of the familiar faces included Fabrizio Ravanelli, Ciro Ferrara, Paolo Montero, Moreno Torricelli, Angelo Peruzzi, Alessandro Birindelli, Gianluca Pessotto, Nicola Legrottaglie and Angelo Di Livio.
However, many pointed out the lovely scene included a face that is closely associated with the worst period in Juventus history.
Moggi was director when the Calciopoli scandal broke in 2006, which saw Juve demoted to Serie B and Moggi given a lifetime ban from the sport.
He was also found guilty in a civil suit in December 2013, condemned to two years and four months behind bars, which due to the Italian justice system does not mean actual time spent in prison.
Calciopoli was not about match-fixing per se, but rather influencing which referees were assigned to which Serie A games.
Lippi and many of the players pictured had already left by that stage, having won the Champions League, five Serie A titles, the UEFA Supercup, Intercontinental Cup, Coppa Italia and four Italian Supercups.

What a great picture! So many legends, as well as the legendary Luciano Moggi. He is a genius, and this is why prInter was so pissed at him. Moggi could have bought almost any player easily. He’s a genius of the transfer market!
