Antonio Conte has no hard feelings towards Zlatan Ibrahimovic but sends a message to the ex-striker and Milan saying that he could have annoyed ‘somebody elsewhere.’

Conte held his first press conference as the new Napoli coach on Wednesday, and one of the questions asked to the Italian tactician was whether he was bothered by Ibrahimovic’s recent claims.

The ex-striker said two weeks ago that the Rossoneri had never considered hiring Conte.

“No, absolutely. I respect everyone but don’t remember what he said too well,” Conte claimed.

“I think he said he sees me as a manager [not a coach]. I consider myself a manager in terms of tactics and training. I want to make my voice heard. Perhaps this could annoy somebody elsewhere.”
