New Napoli boss Antonio Conte says he can’t wait to get to work with two of the club’s national team representatives currently away with former Partenopei coach Luciano Spalletti at EURO 2024.

The former Italy, Juventus, Inter and Chelsea head coach was unveiled in the city of Naples on Wednesday afternoon, where he gave a long address to the press and a handful of supporters.

Conte said that he can not wait to get to work with both Giacomo Raspadori and Michael Folorunsho, who spent the 2023-24 season on loan with Hellas Verona,

What Conte said about Folorunsho and Raspadori

“Absolutely, I want to make every player improve. I’ve spoken to Folorunsho and, like Caprile, he has made an important journey,” Conte told the press.

“Today, he has a new challenge, and it’s a step he’s ready to make. He has impressive physicality; surely, he is one of those players that I am curious to meet.

He continued: “Raspadori has great technical qualities and I think he has great room for improvement. He can give us a lot. I really want to know them as soon as possible.

“One thing is to watch players on TV and another thing is to work with them to see their potential and where they can improve.”
