Antonio Conte believes “every Coach must be a very good tailor”, and explains English football has a “beautiful” atmosphere with fewer insults.

The former Chelsea, Juventus and Italy boss was among the tacticians speaking at the FIGC’s symposium today, and he outlined his philosophy.

“Every Coach must be a very good tailor and adapt his beliefs to the human material he has available,” Conte explained.

“Every Coach must be a very good tailor and adapt his beliefs to the human material he has available,” Conte explained.

“I did the same at Chelsea, I changed the formation I started out with. The atmosphere is beautiful, in England the game is an event, with great enthusiasm and no insults.

“The language barrier creates difficult in transmitting your emotions though, and outside of our borders the typical Italian attention to detail isn't there.

“You need to find a medium between what you want and what you can do. It’s a long process, for example team meetings, what time training is and when their days off are.”
