“I’m happy, it was a difficult match,” Consigli told Sky Sport Italia. “The pitch was bad, and they have a great defence.
“There were only 10 left of us, and we had to suffer. These great years have also led to wins like this.
“The saves release the tension. We have always been told that we don’t know how to defend with determination and today we responded.
“We haven’t played as well as we know for a while, because our opponents are studying us. Absences certainly weigh, but you have to win matches in other ways too and it’s nice to win like this.”
