There is some confusion over the Romelu Lukaku situation, with reports in England of cheering Inter fans greeting the Chelsea striker at the airport, but he has not yet arrived.
The Belgium international is due to undergo his medical in Milan on Wednesday morning and should be in the city this evening.
He is already in Italy on his summer vacation, having released Instagram Stories clips of his experience off the coast of Sardinia.
The Daily Mail seems to have gotten confused with its reporting, publishing a story this afternoon on its website showing video and images of the greeting Lukaku received when he arrived in August 2019 to complete the transfer from Manchester United.
Inter ultras groups released a statement warning they would not be there to welcome Lukaku this time when he returns on loan from Chelsea, in a deal worth €8m plus performance-related bonuses.
They won’t boo him either, but want him to earn back their trust just a year after leaving San Siro in a €113m transfer.

He will earn trust of all Inter fans if he scores 25 goals in Serie A and 32 in all competitions. 😀
