Paolo Nicolato has named his official Italy U-21 starting line-up for the upcoming international friendly against their counterparts from Serbia. 

The Azzurrini travel to the Gradski Stadion in Backa Topola in the first of their double header of international tests over the course of this long weekend. 

The young Italians are expected to line up in a 3-5-2, with Bari goalkeeper Elia Caprile expected to start between the sticks. 

The defensive line is to be made up of Venezia’s Andrea Carboni, Nice’s Mattia Ziti and Atalanta’s Matteo Ruggeri. 

Niccolo Pierozzi is due to start at wing-back and is set for his first cap for the under-21s, with Antonio Gallo expected to line-up on the opposite flank. 

The three in midfield will consist of Bruno Zapelli, Salvatore Esposito and Cesare Casadei, currently on loan at Reading from parent club Chelsea. 

Tommaso Baldanzi and Samuele Mulattieri are expected to lead the line against Serbia. 

Kick off in Serbia is set for 17.00 GMT.
