Multiple sources in Italy confirm Juventus have beaten competition from Barcelona to sign Bayern Munich starlet Kenan Yildiz.

The U17 Turkey international is available as a free agent after his contract with the Bavarians expired on June 30. He refused to sign a contract extension with his ex-club and Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed earlier this week that the promising striker would have left the club.

Juventus were leading the race to secure his services and, as expected, they’ve finalised the deal for the versatile striker. Both Fabrizio Romano and Romeo Agresti confirm that the Serie A giants have reached full agreement with the player’s entourage.

Yildiz never made his senior debut with Bayern and will play in Juventus’ U19 squad next season. Juventus ‘Primavera team’ will be coached by club legend Paolo Montero in 2022-23.

Bayern Munich are now in talks with Juventus over Matthijs de Ligt and could soon make a new bid for the Dutch defender.
