Racing Club have confirmed that Inter paid an initial €14m for Lautaro Martinez, with €7m to follow in bonuses.
The structure of the deal was revealed during Racing’s shareholders’ meeting on Friday, with club treasurer Pablo Mena going on to explain how Inter would cover the remaining €7m.
“The bonuses are: goals scored, games played and final positioning in the Champions League,” he said.

Despite the hype surrounding his arrival, Martinez has scored just once in five appearances for the Nerazzurri, with Luciano Spalletti preferring Mauro Icardi as the Nerazzurri’s lone striker.
