Fiorentina will face LASK, APOEL, Vitoria SC, The New Saints, St. Gallen and Pafos in the new format of the 2024-25 Conference League.

The Viola scraped through to the competition proper after a penalty shoot-out in Hungary last night, having drawn the first leg of the play-off 3-3, then the second leg 1-1 when down to nine men.
They have reached the Final in the last two editions of the Conference League, losing in 2023 to West Ham United and in 2024 to Olympiacos.
The team is under new management now with Raffaele Palladino as the coach and are going to go for the hat-trick of Finals.
Like the Champions League and Europa League, the tournament has changed format for a single table involving all 36 teams.
They will all play six different opponents, with three fixtures at home and three away.
The top eight will then go straight to the Round of 16, teams from 9-24th place enter the knockout round play-offs and those from 25-36 are eliminated from Europe altogether.
Matchdays are scheduled for October 3, October 24, November 7, November 28, December 12 and December 19.
