Juventus general manager Damien Comolli has confirmed that Serbian forward Dusan Vlahovic is “99%” likely to stay at the Bianconeri, after a summer of rumours linking the striker away from the Old Lady.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sport after the Bianconeri discovered their opponents in the draw for the league phase of this year’s Champions League, with quotes via TuttoMercatoWeb, Comolli said that “There is no friction between us and Dusan. He’s part of the team. It is 99% that he will stay and be with us for the whole season. There have been many discussions with some clubs but nothing concrete.”

The GM, who has been in charge of Juventus’ transfer market this summer in the absence of any sporting director at this point, then added “His staying is good news because he is an excellent player – and he also wants to stay.”

Comolli was also asked to comment on the speculation linking French forward Randal Kolo-Muani with a return to Juventus, after the PSG attacker spent the second half of last season on loan in Turin to decent success.

However, the general manager was “not very comfortable talking about players from other clubs, because I think that shows respect.” He did say that the club are “working tirelessly and will do so until Monday night” to improve the team and “a lot of things can happen between now and then”.
