Como will have both Sergi Roberto and Real Madrid sensation Nico Paz for medicals tomorrow, while Manchester City’s Maxi Perrone is on the way too.

The team coached by Cesc Fabregas earned promotion from Serie B, but have been given a rude awakening so far this season.

They were eliminated from the Coppa Italia in the first round and then lost 3-0 to Juventus in Serie A.

The rush is on for reinforcements and three are coming by the end of this week.

Como hat-trick of star signings starts with Sergi Roberto

A deal has been done with Sergi Roberto to sign a one-year contract, with an option to extend for a second if they stay in the top flight.

The 32-year-old is a free agent after spending his entire career at Barcelona, wearing the captain’s armband.

Sky Sport Italia report he will be in Italy for a medical on Thursday.

Today Como also shook hands with Real Madrid for Nico Paz, who turns 20 next month and will join for €6m, but they owe 50 per cent of the sell-on fee to the Merengues, who also retained a buy-back clause.

It is still not over, as by the weekend Como also expect to have Maxi Perrone land for his medical in the move from Manchester City.
