Como are pleased with Alex Valle’s performances and are reportedly working to make his loan move from Barcelona permanent.
The 20-year-old joined the Serie A side last January on a six-month deal and was brought in at the specific request of coach Cesc Fabregas.
A product of La Masia, Barcelona’s famed youth academy, Valle quickly established himself as a starter for the Lariani, featuring in all of their Serie A matches since his arrival and starting nine of them.
Como ready to activate Barcelona talent’s release clause after fruitful loan
Although Barcelona stated at the time of his departure that there was no buy option included in the loan, Fabrizio Romano reports that the player has a €6m release clause, which Como plan to activate to keep the left-back at the Stadio Sinigaglia.

Romano also notes that Valle is seen as a key part of Fabregas’ project, with the coach himself showing a willingness to commit his future to Como despite interest from several Serie A clubs and a direct meeting with RB Leipzig.
Valle has become a particularly important figure in Fabregas’ tactical setup, proving valuable in building play from the back and adding composure and quality to Como’s defensive structure.
