Como coach Cesc Fabregas is at risk of being evicted from an apartment in Switzerland for not paying his rent, claim reports.

Como is close to the border with Switzerland and a few months ago the Spanish tactician rented out a prestigious apartment in the Bissone area of Canton Ticino, the Italian section of the country.

However, Liberatv claim that the owner of the property is fighting for 34,000 francs in unpaid rent and utility bills.

“We even tried contacting his lawyer, but there was no progress…”

The owner has now taken Fabregas to court and next week is the deadline for the judge to evaluate the situation.

If he loses the case, then the former Arsenal and Barcelona player risks having the police evict him and his family from the apartment.

The 37-year-old first came to Como as a player in the summer of 2022, then retired a year later and became the Under-19 coach, quickly promoted to the senior role.

He was for a while last season officially the assistant manager to Osian Roberts, but was able to take the main job from this term in Serie A after achieving the necessary credentials.
