Como have reached a total agreement with FC Copenhagen for experienced centre back Kevin Diks and are now ready to close out a deal.
The Lariani have been incredibly active in the transfer market ahead of their first season back in the topflight, bringing in a number of players including Raphael Varane, Andrea Belotti, Alberto Moreno, Pepe Reina and Alberto Dossena.
Como, backed by some of the richest club owners in Italy, have lofty ambitions in Serie A and believe in their project under coach Cesc Fabregas, who impressed in the dugout as he guided them to the topflight last term.
Como agree Diks deal
Gianluca Di Marzio details how Como have agreed to sign Diks from Copenhagen in a definitive transfer worth around €5m. The deal will be completed once the Danish side secure the arrival of his replacement Gabriel Pereira from Gil Vicente.
Personal terms have already been agreed with the 27-year-old Dutch centre back, who is expected to complete his transfer in the coming days.
