Reports in Belgium claim that Serie A newcomers Como have agreed a €6m deal to sign KRC Genk winger Alieu Fadera.

The Gambia international is due to turn 23 in November and plays primarily on the left wing, but can also take more central attacking roles.

Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri reports that the two clubs have shaken hands on the package, worth a total of €6m including add-ons and a percentage of the sell-on fee.

Como are now discussing personal terms with the player and expect to get his signature on a five-year contract.

He is set to fly in over the weekend for medical tests and to finalise the transfer.

Fadera set for Como switch

KRC Genk purchased Fadera from Zulte Waregem a year ago for €4m and made 35 competitive appearances last season, contributing three goals and four assists.

Como earned promotion to Serie A by finishing second in Serie B last season under coach Cesc Fabregas, though due to not yet having the requisite certification, he was only officially made their head manager this summer.
